On October 6, 2003, 23-year-old Brian Vines was fatally shot inside a cabin in Parkman, Maine. His body remained undiscovered until October 16, when authorities located him at the scene. Subsequent investigations led to the arrests of Arthur Belanger Jr., 21, and Chad Slimm, 20, both from Madison, Maine. The two men were charged with Vines' murder.
