In the autumn of 2005, a grim discovery was made along the Maine Turnpike in York. On October 15th, the body of 32-year-old Asian male, Dung Ngo of Dorchester, Massachusetts, was found, bringing a violent end to a search that had begun weeks earlier. An investigation revealed that Ngo had died from gunshot wounds. He was last seen alive in early September, and what transpired in the intervening weeks would unravel a story of betrayal and murder rooted in a soured drug deal.
