Margaret Claire "Peggy" McGrath Peters, born on October 28, 1930, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, was a long-time resident of Auburn, Maine. She spent her early years in Alton Bay, New Hampshire, where her family operated a country store on Lake Winnipesaukee. Margaret grew up alongside her five siblings in this vibrant summer resort area.
