On August 23, 2015, 49-year-old Donald B. Shores Jr., affectionately known as "Chip," died in Oakland, Maine. Born on November 1, 1965, in Augusta, Maine, he was the son of Donald Shores Sr. and Judith (Martin) Shores. A 1984 graduate of Lawrence High School, Chip served in the United States Army and later worked as a dairy farmer. He was known for his love of family and friends, as well as his enjoyment of four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and racquetball.
