On July 5, 2017, in Madison, Maine, a tragic series of events unfolded when 51-year-old Carroll Tuttle Jr. fatally shot his partner, Lori Hayden, 52, and their 25-year-old son, Dustin Tuttle, inside their home at 316 Russell Road. Following these domestic violence-related killings, Tuttle proceeded to the nearby residence of 57-year-old neighbor Michael Spaulding, at 299 Russell Road, where he also shot and killed him.
