In the small town of Richmond, Maine, a welfare check on a Monday morning led to a grim discovery that left the community in shock. On November 2, 2020, police arrived at an apartment on Main Street to check on the residents. When they were unable to make contact with anyone inside, the Maine State Police were called to assist. A tactical unit entered the apartment and found the bodies of 49-year-old Dana Shulman, a Caucasian male, and his partner, 47-year-old Robin Bowler.
