On June 17, 2021, 47-year-old Cheryl Cote and her boyfriend, 46-year-old Daniel Perkins, were found deceased in their Limington, Maine, home following a fire. Firefighters responding to the early morning blaze at 259 Hardscrabble Road discovered their bodies inside the residence. Investigators later determined that both victims had suffered gunshot wounds prior to the fire.
