In the small town of Roundup, Montana, a young life was tragically cut short on March 6, 2016. Kenneth Kenny Kreuscher, a 5-year-old Caucasian male, was found with a fatal gunshot wound. The devastating incident that claimed his life also involved his mother, Sara Atkinson. Investigators determined that Atkinson shot her son before turning the gun on herself in a heart-wrenching murder-suicide. Despite his persistent efforts and the numerous police reports filed, Kreuscher felt his pleas for intervention went largely unheeded.
