On the evening of April 6, 2015, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in the small town of Gorham, New Hampshire, leaving a young White / Caucasian man dead. Michael Welch, a 27-year-old male, was discovered by police on a sidewalk in front of Gorham Common Park, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The fatal incident unfolded at approximately 6:40 p.m., with the sound of the shots reaching officers inside the nearby police station, prompting them to rush to the scene on foot.
