On April 21, 2022, the bodies of 66-year-old Djeswende "Wendy" Reid and her 67-year-old husband, Stephen Reid, were discovered near the Marsh Loop Trail in Concord, New Hampshire. The couple had been reported missing after leaving their Alton Woods apartment on April 18 for a walk in the Broken Ground Trails area. Autopsies confirmed that both died from multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled homicides.
