Djeswende Reid, a 66-year-old Black woman, and her husband, Stephen Reid, 67, were residents of the Alton Woods apartment complex in Concord, New Hampshire. On the afternoon of Monday, April 18, 2022, the couple left their home for a walk, a frequent activity for the avid outdoorspeople.
