On November 18, 2014, 28-year-old Jamis Lott was fatally shot in Townshend, Vermont, along with his father, 60-year-old Steven Lott. The incident occurred at Steven Lott's residence, where Jamis was visiting to do laundry. Robin O'Neill, 62, who had recently ended a relationship with Steven Lott, was present at the scene.
