In the quiet town of Windsor, Vermont, the morning of June 8, 2015, was shattered by a senseless act of violence that claimed the life of 22-year-old Molly Helland, a Caucasian female. Helland was discovered with gunshot wounds outside her parents' residence on South Main Street shortly after 7 a.m. She had recently moved back into her family home after separating from her ex-boyfriend.
