On November 20, 2016, 21-year-old Dakota Gosselin of Providence, Rhode Island, was fatally shot in the head. Authorities believe that David Deleon, then 19, who was acquainted with Gosselin, committed the murder. After the shooting, Deleon allegedly transported Gosselin's body to a vacant lot on Lincoln Meadows Drive in Lincoln, where he set it on fire in an attempt to conceal the crime.
