On a Sunday evening in Williston, North Dakota, the life of 19-year-old Matthew York, a Caucasian male, was cut short by gunfire. The fatal encounter took place on November 10, 2019, behind a local Cash Wise grocery store. At approximately 8:30 p.m., police responded to reports of gunshots and discovered two victims. Matthew York was pronounced dead at the scene, while another 19-year-old, Parker Haider, was found critically injured.
