On February 25, 2007, in the Wa'a Wa'a area of lower Puna, Hawaii, police discovered the burned remains of 21-year-old Tyrone Torres inside a vehicle that had been set on fire near the shoreline. An autopsy revealed that Torres died from a single shotgun wound to the head.
