On May 6, 2016, in Pahoa, Hawaii, 40-year-old Aracely Hoffman was tragically killed alongside her two children, 7-year-old Clara and 5-year-old John 'Junior' Hoffman. The incident occurred in their Leilani Estates home, where police discovered the children's bodies inside the house and Aracely's body in the trunk of a car driven by her husband, John Ali Hoffman. Officers had stopped John for driving without headlights and noticed blood dripping from the trunk, leading to the grim discovery.
