John Ellsworth Hasselbrink, a 41-year-old Navy Chief Petty Officer, was tragically shot and killed on April 15, 2018, in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The incident occurred when Hasselbrink mistakenly attempted to enter the wrong residence in the middle of the night. The homeowner, Gregory Allen Farr, 34, fired a single shot through the front door, fatally striking Hasselbrink.
