Imelda Sabalo Villaspir, 49, a Filipino woman, was living and working in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi when an ordinary Thursday afternoon on September 19, 2019 turned into violence that people nearby would remember in fragments—sharp sounds, sudden movement, then the heavy stillness that follows panic.
