On June 18, 2003, 21-year-old Jeremy Lee Dunn, also known as "Opie," was found deceased in a wooded area near a railroad bridge off Dudley Road in Coaling, Alabama. His body was discovered bound and shot, indicating a violent end. Witnesses reported seeing Dunn less than an hour before his death, walking toward a store in the Holt community.
