On December 4, 2012, 21-year-old Larry Christopher "LaChris" Cole was fatally shot at a music recording studio on Poole Drive in Huntsville, Alabama. Cole, an aspiring rapper, was targeted in a robbery orchestrated by four individuals who believed he possessed money or valuable items at the studio. Christopher Baker, who was acquainted with Cole, initiated contact under the pretense of purchasing marijuana.
