Tessa Faye Groves, a 17-year-old high school student from Scottsboro, Alabama, tragically lost her life on September 18, 2013, in what authorities later confirmed to be a homicide. Groves was found dead at a residence in the rural part of Jackson County, where she had been living at the time of the incident.
