In the fading daylight of October 29, 2014, tragedy struck in Center Point, Alabama, forever altering the lives of one family. Woodrow Embry, a 27-year-old male, was found shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex on 24th Avenue NW. The Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a person down and discovered Embry suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
