On April 27, 2015, 32-year-old Nikia Lavada Fair was fatally shot during a domestic dispute in Mobile, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:49 p.m. in the 2600 block of Pollard Lane, where Fair confronted her ex-boyfriend, 31-year-old Michael Jackson. During the altercation, Fair, with her young child in the vehicle, struck a 28-year-old woman with her car and then rammed Jackson's parked vehicle.
