On May 13, 2008, at approximately 3:15 PM, Bobby Lewis Moore, aged 35, was found dead inside an abandoned building located in the 5900 block of East Capitol Street, SE, Washington, D.C. Authorities believe that his body had been in the building for some time before it was discovered. The Metropolitan Police Department initiated an investigation into the homicide, which remains unsolved to this day.
