On September 4, 2015, in Eutaw, Alabama, 3-year-old Layton Cochran was tragically killed in a shooting incident at a residence on Baron Road. Authorities charged 32-year-old Harper DeWayne Colvin of Knoxville with murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle in connection with the child's death.
