On June 24, 2008, Charles Tyrone Locke was shot and killed at approximately 10 p.m. in the 3300 block of 10th Place, SE, Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire. Locke, aged 36, was found with fatal injuries resulting from gunshot wounds.
