Two days after she was reported missing, Cary Palmer Adams' body was found by hunters in a remote wooded area near Childersburg, AL.
In the summer of 1998, a Fourth of July holiday visit to relatives in Coosa County, Alabama, turned into a tragedy for the family of Cary Palmer Adams. The 25-year-old Caucasian female had traveled from her home in Chipley, Florida, with her husband and their nine-year-old daughter for what should have been a festive weekend. However, the celebration took a dark turn, and Cary would never make it back home.
