Death by Force

On October 9, 2016, 23-year-old Rakim Rashad Hawkins Sr. was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred during a dice game at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and 44th Place North in the Kingston community. An unidentified individual approached the group and began shooting, resulting in Hawkins and two others being wounded.
