On December 15, 2016, in Bucks, Alabama, 60-year-old Douglas Gordon McKinney and his wife, 54-year-old Lisanne Watkins McKinney, were tragically killed in their home. Both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The couple managed the Bates Creek RV & Mobile Home Park in McIntosh, where they also resided. They were known for their generosity and willingness to assist others, often inviting neighbors to join them for meals and social gatherings.
