In the late summer of 2017, a life was tragically cut short in Madison, Alabama. On Sunday, September 3rd, deputies from the Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to a call concerning a shooting at 156 Dexter Circle. Upon their arrival, they discovered the body of 21-year-old Christopher Hamlett, a resident of Florence. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The young man was known to his loved ones by the nickname 'Lil Chris.'
