In the early hours of September 8, 2017, 25-year-old Decarlos McAlpine Jr. was found deceased inside his vehicle at the Broadmoore Gardens Apartment Complex in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Responding to a shooting call around 4 a.m., Tuscaloosa Police officers discovered McAlpine suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
