In the spring of 2018, the community of Holtville, Alabama, was shaken by the violent death of a local business owner. Tony Ned Carr, a 55-year-old male, was killed on Monday, April 16, 2018. The incident that led to his death was a result of gun violence. Carr was the proprietor of Tony's Automotive in the neighboring town of Deatsville, where he was a known and respected figure.
