On a cold winter evening in Washington, D.C., a young man’s life was cut short by gunfire. 20-year-old Marquis Wade was fatally shot on Saturday, February 27, 2010, in the 300 block of Parkland Place, SE. The incident occurred at approximately 8:46 p.m. in a residential area, shattering the night's calm and leaving a community in mourning. He was a male.
