Earl Griffin, a 27-year-old man, was tragically shot on November 7, 2009, in the 2400 block of 11th Street NW, Washington, D.C. He sustained serious gunshot wounds during the incident and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Despite months of medical care, Griffin succumbed to his injuries on April 6, 2010. His death marked the culmination of a long fight for survival following the shooting.
