In September 2018, the body of 30-year-old David Christen Lorenzo Rivamonte was discovered buried near a residence on County Road 86 in Woodville, Alabama. Rivamonte, a Huntsville resident, had been reported missing on September 8, shortly after his release from the Madison County Jail following an arrest for leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. His remains were unearthed on September 14, leading to a homicide investigation.
