On November 25, 2018, 24-year-old Jasmine Washington was fatally shot in Demopolis, Alabama. The incident occurred at the intersection of Floyd Street and Field Street, where a vehicle collision led to a shooting involving multiple individuals. Washington and 27-year-old Laderrus Gilbert sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
