On March 31, 2019, Kahlia Gordon, a 23-year-old woman from Ohatchee, Alabama, was found dead in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. The tragic incident took place at a residence in Ohatchee, a small community in Calhoun County. Gordon's body was discovered in the home by local law enforcement after they responded to a call about a possible shooting. Investigators confirmed that Gordon had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
