On January 24, 2020, 23-year-old Dylan Haimes was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound inside the Travel Inn motel in Monroeville, Alabama. The Monroeville Police Department, with assistance from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Conecuh County Sheriff's Office, and Repton Police Department, promptly initiated a homicide investigation.
