On January 25, 2020, 54-year-old Philip Ridley Ledet III, a resident of Irvington, Alabama, was fatally shot in the head. Initially, 33-year-old Stanley Roberson was charged with manslaughter, as it was believed the shooting was accidental. However, further investigation by the Mobile County District Attorney's Office uncovered evidence suggesting the act was intentional.
