In the late hours of a Tuesday night in February 2020, a seemingly routine traffic stop would tragically escalate, leading to the death of a dedicated police officer. Nicholas Daniel O'Rear, a 33-year-old White/Caucasian male, was a K-9 officer with the Kimberly Police Department in Alabama.
