In the small community of Danville, Alabama, the evening of May 24, 2020, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 50-year-old Tammy Renee Smith, a white female known for her friendly demeanor. Her death was not an isolated incident but part of a grim triple homicide that also took the lives of 55-year-old James Edward Miller and 54-year-old Teresa Lynn Peters. A fourth individual was also injured in the attack that unfolded at a residence on Flint Creek Private Drive.
