In the summer of 2020, the life of 18-year-old Amendo McKee was cut short by an act of gun violence in Montgomery, Alabama. On Thursday, June 11, 2020, officers from the Montgomery Police Department were called to the scene of a shooting where they found McKee with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
