On June 11, 2020, 18-year-old Amendo "TROOP" McKee was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5:03 p.m. in the 1100 block of Victor Tulane Circle. Responding to reports of gunfire, Montgomery Police and Fire Medics arrived at the scene, where witnesses indicated that the victim had already left. Shortly thereafter, McKee was located at a local hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds; despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
