In the early hours of a Wednesday morning, the sound of gunshots shattered the quiet of a Washington, D.C. neighborhood. On June 15, 2011, at approximately 1:04 a.m., officers from the Fourth District were dispatched to the 300 block of Delafield Place, NW, following reports of the shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man inside an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
