On June 2, 2021, in Uniontown, Alabama, 25-year-old Jimmie Lee Rembert Jr. was fatally shot. According to reports, Rembert, along with Aldonte Jaquan Banks, 17, and another individual, Johnnie Robertson Jr., were walking on Cedar Bluff Road near "Cut Through Road" close to RC Hatch Elementary School. The trio was reportedly firing handguns into the air to compare their loudness.
