On October 29, 2021, 45-year-old Willie James Davis Jr., affectionately known as "40-Cal," was fatally shot at the Girard Court Apartments in Abbeville, Alabama. Originally from Fort Gaines, Georgia, Davis was residing with his girlfriend at the time of the incident.
