In the fall of 2021, the life of 37-year-old Timothy Darius Biffle, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter. On the evening of Tuesday, November 23, 2021, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the Chalkville Manor Apartments on Chalkville Manor Drive in the Grayson Valley community of suburban Birmingham, Alabama. They were responding to a call about a person shot.
