On January 23, 2022, 30-year-old Quaylin Curtis Rashod Smith of Columbus, Mississippi, was fatally shot in Reform, Alabama. Authorities responded to a residence on Fifth Street Southwest around 5:30 p.m., where they discovered Smith and another victim, 27-year-old Christopher Hill of Northport, Alabama, deceased in the driveway from gunshot wounds.
