In the autumn of 2013, a life was cut short on a street in Northeast Washington, D.C. Diallobe Mcdougald, a 38-year-old Black man, found his day tragically interrupted by an act of violence. On the afternoon of Monday, October 28, 2013, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Mcdougald was stabbed in the 1800 block of Central Place Northeast, a street located near Gallaudet University and just outside the Trinidad neighborhood.
