On June 14, 2022, 43-year-old Henry "Hank" Laverne Schoonmaker was fatally shot at his residence on Robin Private Drive in Somerville, Alabama. Deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene shortly before 6 a.m., but despite emergency medical efforts, Schoonmaker succumbed to his injuries.
