In the early evening of July 13, 2022, a grim discovery was made in the quiet community of White Hall, Alabama. There, in the vicinity of Brown Road and Highway 80, authorities found a vehicle that seemed out of place. Inside, they would find 19-year-old Quindarious Keondre Shuford, a male native of Montgomery, who was unresponsive. Medics were called to the scene, but it was too late; he was pronounced deceased. An autopsy would later confirm that Quindarious, who was known to many by the nickname 'Young Goat,' had died from a fatal gunshot wound.
Quindarious, born on June 6, 2003, had his whole life ahead of him. A graduate of Park Crossing High School in May 2021, he was continuing his education at Fortis College with aspirations of a career in HVAC. He was a father to a young son, Quindarious Jr. Known for his passion for music and rapping, he also had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, often sharing the produce he grew with his family and friends.
As of now, the investigation into the death of Quindarious Shuford remains ongoing, and his case is considered unsolved. The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office continues to seek answers and has appealed to the public for any information that might lead to a breakthrough in the case. To encourage leads, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a cash reward for information that results in the identification and arrest of any suspect or suspects responsible for this tragedy. Authorities and his family are still hoping for justice for the young life that was cut short.
